Kristen Bell will star in “When in Rome,” a film that Mark Steven Johnson will direct from his own script for Disney.Gary Foster, Andrew Panay and Rikki Bestall will produce and shooting begins March 31 in New York and Rome.

Bell will play a successful real estate agent in Gotham who can’t find a lasting relationship. When her younger sister impulsively marries in Rome, she flies out for the wedding and, after picking up coins from a reputed “fountain of love,” finds an overabundance of suitors waiting for her back home.

Bell, who was part of the “Heroes” cast this past season, will next be seen playing the title role in the Judd Apatow-produced and scripted Universal comedy “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” as well as “Fanboys” for the Weinstein Co.

5:15-6:15 Universal: Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Wanted — For anyone whose heart has been ripped out comes a hilarious look at relationships from the producers of Knocked Up: Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The romantic disaster comedy’s Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Russell Brand, Bill Hader, Jack McBrayer, director Nicholas Stoller and producer Shauna Robertson are scheduled to appear on the WonderCon stage.

Heroes: NBC’s sci-fi drama from the producer Tim Kring was originally planning to open a new arc titled “Villains” in early 2008. Since the studio would probably not be able to film more than 3 new episodes this season, NBC is expected to delay the return of the drama till September, when season 3 launches. Next season may however contain more than the standard 22-23 episodes.

Gossip Girl: The CW’s teen drama based on the series of bestselling books is expected to return in late April with the remaining 9 episodes. Under that scenario, the struggling network would extend its official TV season into the summer. “Gossip Girl” was the first freshman drama to receive a full-season pickup last October, and would possibly be the only hour-long drama to film a full season of 22 episodes.
