The latest celebrity, Kristen Bell, says she would love to do Broadway. She states that she has done some shows back in New York and would love if another oppurtunity would come her way. However, her schedule has her tied down to say the least. With Couples Retreat and Astro Boy having just been released and several other projects in the works, don’t plan on seeing Bell onstage anytime soon. Of course, if she mananges to find some free time, you all know where to find her!

Kristen Bell hits the red carpet at the 2009 American Music Awards at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre on Sunday (November 22).
The 29-year-old actress, who presented the award for Favorite Country Band/Duo/Group to Rascal Flatts, wore a super-flattering bandeau top and skirt by Christian Cota, Louboutin heels and finished her look off with a clutch by Judith Leiber and a ring by Neil Lane.

The 29-year-old actress, who accessorized with Christian Louboutin pumps, recently began filming Burlesque with Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet and Julianne Hough.
“My character is fun and sexy but not a stripper,” Kristen told E! “There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings.”
“It’s very artistic burlesque,” she said. “Burlesque is a tease. It’s not meant to really give that much away because that wouldn’t be considered a tease. It would be considered giving away the goods.”
Kristen Bell says a “healthy communication and scrabble” are the secret for her long-lasting relationship with boyfriend Dax Shepard. The Astro Boy actress tells Women’s Health magazine in its November isse, “I’ve learned the necessity for healthy communication. How important it is to talk about your deepest, darkest fears and feelings. “Your partner should hear your most embarrassing insecurities, because once you say them out loud, you’ve created a safe zone.” On her spare time; “There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax or talking to my girlfriends.” And Kristen added, “A snuggle party can fix anything – it’s true.”

Most people first got to know her as a high-school detective in the title role of TV’s Veronica Mars from 2004 to 2007. She was already in her 20s then.
In the recent comedy hit Couples Retreat, opposite Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman, the actress has gotten to mature a bit – playing a woman who after a number of years of marriage has problems because of her inability to conceive.
“It’s exciting to start playing characters that are more my age,” Bell says. “I know the facts of the situation are that I look a lot younger than I actually am.”
But in the animated Astro Boy, which opened Friday, the Detroit native is back to voicing a teen as Cora, who helps the robot hero.
Still, Bell is making progress. In Forgetting Sarah Marshall she got to play Jason Segel’s obsession as the title character.

Eager to embark into the world of Metro City, Kristen Bell sets off in her first animated feature film: Astro Boy, the story of a young robot with incredible powers, and his adventure-filled journey in search of his destiny.
Cora, the character voiced by Bell, is a young runaway with a thorny exterior. She meets Astro Boy on the surface of the earth, after he flees Metro City – a gleaming metropolis in the sky.
Lost and unsure of his identity, Astro Boy seeks simply to fit in. Hiding his true nature, he tries to pass himself off as a human being with a gang of child-vagabonds, of which Cora is the leader. Astro’s innate goodness eventually leads him back to Metro City, finding his place as a true superhero.
In our exclusive interview with the actress, Bell chats about Astro Boy, her upcoming movie When In Rome and reminisces about her days on TV’s Veronica Mars.
Q: What did you enjoy the most about making this film?
Kristen Bell: Coming to work in my pajamas. [Laughs]. My work schedule was every easy. I went in about three or four times over the last year, and over the course of going in, I got to see different sketches and portions of the film. It’s just fascinating how many hands it passes through, and how each animator is given a different section of the film to work on. It’s exciting to see it go from a pencil drawing, to something with color, then a background, to the final product.

The Veronica Mars star talks to OK! magazine about her health. “At the top of the list is definitely not getting H1N1,” “Other than everything, I feel like it’s a difficult decision because I feel thankful for almost everything in my life.” Besides, she gushes on her new big screen project alongside Christina Aguilera. “I’m excited. I’m really excited. It’s a different role for me,” she explained. “It’s kind of a departure, which is exciting. I don’t want to be pigeonholed as the bubblegum girl next door and this is getting back to my snarkier roots. There is a lot of dancing in the movie, which is intimidating, but I think Christina is unreasonably talented in pretty much every facet of her life. She has written music for the movie, which is crazy good. I’m excited to start.”
